WALK KOKODA WITH OUR WOUNDED SOLDIERS…
21-30 July 2012
If you are considering walking the Kokoda Trail then why not trek with, and show your support to, our youngest Australian Soldiers who have all been wounded on Active Service in Afghanistan. Our current wounded Australian Soldiers are using this program as part of their physical and mental rehabilitation. In 2012, Adventure1000 will again be the hosts and organisers of the RSL Soldiers Kokoda Program over the dates 21 – 30 July 2012. In 2011 this special event witnessed 21 of our young Australian Wounded, all sponsored, walk the trail with 40 other Australians. This magnificent program includes buglers, bagpipers, a former Australian Army Principal Chaplain, John Butler and many representatives from the Australian Community showing their support to our Soldiers. Therefore, if you would like to add another dimension to your Kokoda experience by walking with our wounded, in the footsteps of their forefathers on the Kokoda Trail, hearing the history of the Kokoda campaign and culminating in a moving memorial service at the Isurava Memorial, then please join our team. Additionally, the 2012 RSL Soldiers Kokoda will culminate with our arrival in the village of Kokoda on the 70th anniversary of the first battle of Kokoda on 28 July 1942.
This is a program you will feel proud to say you were part of as a mark of respect to our current serving Australian Servicemen and Women, our wounded in their pursuit of rehabilitation, and as a tribute to our Soldiers who fought on the Kokoda Trail in 1942.

We are very proud of what our clients have to say about us:
I want to thank you and your team for making the past 10 days for both me personally, but also the IAA group such an incredible experience. In particular, your connection with the PNG villagers added a very positive dimension to the experience...
