The full cost of the program is AUS$6,250 per person (no GST payable)
The trek cost includes:
- Return flights to Port Moresby ex Brisbane
- Transfers and commercial charter flight in Papua New Guinea
- Two nights accommodation in Port Moresby - twin share
- Meals at the hotel in Port Moresby
- Meals on the Kokoda Trail (purchased and packed in Australia)
- Experienced Australian Trek Leaders, Doctors and Medics
- Seven nights accommodation on the Kokoda Trail in a village hut, tent or bush camp
- Detailed battle site briefings on the Kokoda Trail
- All personal camping and cooking equipment (excluding boots, shorts and socks)
- Local Papua New Guinea guides and porters for group equipment
- Cleaning of boots following the trek
- Adventure1000 short sleeved trekking shirt and trek cap
The cost excludes:
- Domestic flights to and from Brisbane
- Personal expenses (tips, laundry, phone calls, etc)
- Alcohol/drinks at hotel in Port Moresby
- Papua New Guinea visa
- Inoculations and anti-malarial medication
- Personal porter/carrier charges, if required
- Optional excursions
- Personal travel insurance
